Overview
This policy explains how subtxtlabs handles information when you use the Nightwire website, purchase the software, contact support, or use the Nightwire desktop app.
Nightwire desktop
Local processing
Audio files you open, waveform and tempo analysis, cue and loop state, and crate metadata are processed and stored locally on your device. Nightwire does not upload your local audio library to subtxtlabs.
Optional media imports
If you choose to import media from a supported third-party URL, Nightwire connects directly to that service and uses local helper tools to retrieve the media. The third party may receive your IP address and other standard request information under its own privacy policy. Only import content you are permitted to use.
Information we may collect
- Purchase and license details, such as your email address, order identifier, product, price, and payment status. Full payment-card details are handled by the payment provider, not by us.
- Messages and diagnostic details you choose to send when asking for support.
- Basic website request data, such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps, if recorded by our hosting provider for security and operation.
The current Nightwire desktop app does not require an account and does not include advertising or sell personal information.
How we use information
We use information to deliver purchases, validate licenses where applicable, provide support and refunds, secure and maintain our services, comply with law, and communicate about a transaction or support request.
Sharing and retention
We share information only with service providers needed to run Nightwire—such as payment, email, and hosting providers—or when required by law. We retain purchase records as required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal purposes. Support messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to resolve issues and maintain useful records.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or object to certain processing. To make a request, email hello@subtxtlabs.com. We may need to verify your identity.
Security, children, and changes
We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is completely secure. Nightwire is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We may update this policy as the product changes; the effective date above will show the latest revision.
